VW Caddy Body Repair
Our latest project was repairing this 2011 plate Long Wheel Base VW Caddy Van. When it came into our workshop we assessed the damage and took the required action to get the van back to looking it’s best.
We provide body repair services to all sorts of trade vehicles, from fleet hire to independent tradesmen.
We also have the technology to assess your van for any faults that may have occurred after the damage took place. We use systems to re-align the wheels and improve the tracking, helping with both fuel consumption and tyre longevity.
What we did:
Like any new enquiry, we always assess the damage, images can give us a general idea, but it’s best that we actually see the van.
After our estimator has viewed the problems, we will source the parts and cost the labour. We will also colour code the paintwork and get it looking brand new.
On this VW Caddy, we had to commit to extensive repair work to the rear quarter of the van, rear door and the side sliding door. We replaced the rear bumper and lights. Using our low bake oven we were able to develop the perfect paint finish.
Rising Insurance and Body Shop Repairs
Consumer intelligence insurance index claim that van premiums are up 14.% in last year and rising much faster than domestic cars.
Autocraft aim to keep your costs low so you can consider whether it’s worth claiming against your policy. You don’t have to use an approved VW workshop, we use genuine OEM parts and repair and hidden damage ensuring your VW van is back to it’s pre-accident state when leaving us here at AutoCraft Wirral.
